ith the Epsom Derby fast approaching, it’s time for the ladies to start to assemble those glamorous racing day outfits for Epsom Ladies Day where they can win £5000 worth of prizes!

It’s not only going to be a day of hats, shoes, and beautiful dresses! That’s right Epsom Ladies day will take place on Friday the 1st of June at Epsom Downs Racecourse, where we will be entertained by some of the best flat race horses competing against one another. This will be the first day of the Epsom Derby where three-year-old fillies will be competing for The Oaks Stakes which has been run since 1779.

On top of this we will be looking forward to seeing which one of the lovely ladies wins the 2018 ‘’Style of the Downs’’ fashion awards!

The Epsom Ladies Day 2018 will be hosted by Investec Derby Festival Ambassador Vogue Williams. And on Friday 1st June, racegoers are invited to dress to impress for the chance of winning the Style Award title and taking home several fantastic prizes worth over £5000.

Epsom Ladies Day – Dress code

Even if you are not looking to take part in ‘’Style of the Downs’’ you should still make sure you are dressed appropriately on the day. Gentlemen must wear a jacket, collar and tie, while Ladies are asked to wear a fascinator or hat. While children should be dressed smartly.
It’s important not to show up in jeans, sports shorts, denim or trainers as they are not acceptable attire for the races.

The day will end in style with the Official After Party on the Hyperion Lawn, hosted by Investec Derby Festival, Ambassador Vogue Williams
