Dee Stakes

It would be unheard of for Ballydoyle to have just one contender in a race they dearly love to win and so it was that ROSTROPOVICH threw his name into the hat with an eyecatching victory in the Dee Stakes at Chester the day after Young Rascal impressed at the same course. Switched off by Ryan Moore, ROSTROPOVICH breezed past My Lord And Master (2nd in the Epsom Derby Trial) and showed no sign of stopping as he hit the line full of running. We were seriously impressed with the son of Frankel’s turn of foot and staying power and went 20/1, from 66/1, about him winning the most coveted Classic of them all.
